Changzhou, China – In a strategic move aimed at strengthening solar energy deployment in West Africa, Mr. Kofi Asare-Adjei, along with Mr. Adolph Tetteh Adjei from Ghana and Mr. Peter Achinike from Nigeria, visited the ALILY Energy production facility in Changzhou, China this week.
The visit was centered around discussions on a potential partnership between Mr. Adjei and Mr. Achinike to support ALILY Energy’s entry into the solar markets of Ghana and Nigeria. The delegation toured ALILY’s state-of-the-art manufacturing lines, gaining insight into the company’s innovations in solar panel production, particularly in Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV).
Speaking after the tour, the trio expressed optimism about the future of solar energy across the continent. “Africa’s solar potential is immense. Our goal is to facilitate technology transfer and establish sustainable distribution channels to meet growing energy needs in both Ghana and Nigeria,”
The collaboration, if successful, could mark a significant step forward in increasing access to renewable energy solutions in West Africa, while creating local employment opportunities and supporting national climate goals.
ALILY Energy executives also expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the importance of working with local leaders to tailor solar solutions to each market’s unique needs.
