Alily Energy Recognized as a Model Business at CEIBS Africa-China Executive Education Module

Alily Energy is proud to share that our company was recently recognized as a model of excellence during an executive education module organized by the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). The program, led by Professor Shameen Prashantham, Associate Dean at CEIBS, brought together a distinguished group of African business leaders and executives to explore China’s economic environment and develop high-impact, sustainable partnerships between Africa and China.

During the event, our Founder and CEO, Lily Li, a proud alumna of CEIBS, was invited to present the Alily Energy story, showcasing our business model, values, and mission. With a focus on clean energy access and innovation, our work across the African continent captured the attention and admiration of the participants. The presentation detailed how Alily Energy is delivering real-world solutions through solar-powered systems—ranging from off-grid installations in rural communities to solar boats for local fishermen and portable solar kits for homes and schools.

The response from the audience was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees praised our practical, scalable approach and highlighted our model as an example worth following. Many noted that Alily Energy represents the kind of forward-thinking, impact-driven business that Africa needs to accelerate its development goals. The CEIBS faculty and participants agreed that solar energy is a vital force for progress in Africa and recognized Alily Energy as a company that is not only addressing energy challenges but also inspiring broader socio-economic change.

CEIBS affirmed its support for Alily Energy’s mission and vision, committing to share valuable feedback and solar energy demand data from across African countries. This collaboration will help us better understand market needs and expand our efforts where they are most needed. The school’s endorsement reinforces our belief that we are on the right track and strengthens our determination to keep driving innovation in the African solar sector.

Solar energy is not just a power source for Africa—it is a lifeline. With a large portion of the population still lacking access to reliable electricity, renewable energy solutions like ours have the potential to transform lives. At Alily Energy, we are deeply committed to ensuring that this transformation reaches as many people as possible. We view our work not only as a business, but as a mission to enable communities, empower development, and create a cleaner, more equitable future.

This recognition from one of the world’s leading business schools is a tremendous honor for our team. We are grateful to CEIBS, Professor Shameen Prashantham, and the African executive participants for the opportunity to share our story and to build new bridges between China and Africa. As we continue to grow, Alily Energy remains dedicated to making solar energy accessible, affordable, and impactful for every corner of the African continent.
