The event, titled “Unlocking the Potential of PV+: Integrating Solar Energy for Sustainable Development,” will take place at the SDG Pavilion on 14 November 2025, from 5:20 PM to 6:20 PM (GMT-3).
It is hosted by the Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA), co-organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the Global Solar Council (GSC), and will mark the launch of the UN’s new flagship report:
“PV+ and Opportunities for South–South Cooperation: Solar Energy Use for Sustainable Development.”
Leading the Conversation on PV+ Integration

Spotlight on Impact: A Blueprint for Energy Resilience in Congo-Brazzaville
A powerful example of this approach is ALILY’s recently commissioned hybrid solar project in Congo-Brazzaville:
a 100 kW Solar + 215 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) + 110 kW Generator Farm, completed in March 2025.
This turnkey system now delivers reliable, clean electricity, significantly reducing diesel dependency while powering schools, medical clinics, and local enterprises.
