Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – September 7–10, 2025 – Alily, a leading provider of solar energy solutions, was honored to participate in the 2nd Africa Climate Summit (ACS), where it showcased its commitment to advancing renewable energy development across the continent during the dedicated Solar Energy Session.
Lily, Founder of Alily, delivered a keynote address themed “Affordable, Reliable, Simple: One-Stop Solar Solutions to Power Africa.” The presentation highlighted Alily’s integrated approach to making solar energy both accessible and dependable for African markets, drawing significant attention from attendees.
Alily’s multi-energy complementary projects—combining solar, energy storage, charging, and diesel systems—currently deployed in countries such as the Republic of the Congo and Ghana, sparked strong interest among summit participants. Many delegates expressed hope that Alily could also support local capacity-building by providing training for solar enterprises. In response, Alily announced its commitment to offering free online training sessions for African photovoltaic companies in the near future.
A key highlight of Alily’s summit participation was the signing of a partnership initiative with the World Resources Institute (WRI). This collaboration positions Alily to play a more prominent role in driving Africa’s clean energy agenda, with a focus on scaling up sustainable and innovative solar solutions across the region.
“Africa’s renewable energy potential is immense, and Alily is proud to contribute to its realization,” said Lily. “The insights gained and partnerships forged at the 2nd Africa Climate Summit will further strengthen our efforts to deliver practical, impactful solar solutions that support the continent’s climate and development goals.”
