UNIDO Showcases Alily Energy’s Portable Solar Panels and Solar Backpack in Southeast Asia Technology Bridge Exhibit

On May 13, 2025, the UNIDO Technology Bridge: Rediscovering Southeast Asia – A Dialogue with UNIDO Representatives in Southeast Asia was successfully held at the UNIDO Fourth Industrial Revolution Industry Accelerator (Hangzhou). The event was jointly organized by UNIDO ITPO Beijing, China, and the Commerce Bureau of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou.

Tao Zhenwen, Party Committee Member and Chief Economist of the Xiaoshan District Commerce Bureau, delivered a welcome address emphasizing the growing momentum among Chinese enterprises to explore opportunities in Southeast Asia. Tao highlighted Xiaoshan’s robust base of large-scale, high-value foreign trade companies and a nationally leading outbound service ecosystem. She also shared an overview of the district’s overseas investment landscape and reaffirmed support for local enterprises by offering professional guidance and resource coordination to help them “go global.”

Wu Yabin, Head of UNIDO ITPO Beijing, China, then extended his greetings through a cutting-edge AI digital avatar. He addressed the challenges posed by the current global supply chain disruptions and trade tensions, stressing the urgency for businesses to identify new destinations for investment and innovation. To support this effort, the event invited UNIDO representatives stationed in Southeast Asia, along with seasoned experts and entrepreneurs in international trade, to foster meaningful dialogue between Chinese businesses and the Southeast Asian market.

In a major highlight of the event, Alily Energy’s innovative portable solar panels and solar backpack were selected by UNIDO for inclusion in its official product showcase at the accelerator’s exhibition zone. These cutting-edge, mobile clean energy solutions are designed to meet the power needs of off-grid communities and travelers, particularly in remote or underserved regions. The products will remain on display for six months, offering exposure to international investors, development agencies, and trade partners.

Li Qian, Founder and CEO of Alily Energy, attended the event and shared her vision for sustainable energy in her remarks. We are honored that our products have been recognized by UNIDO and included in this international showcase, she said. Alily Energy was founded with the mission of making clean, portable energy accessible to everyone, especially in rural and off-grid communities. Being part of this initiative not only validates our innovation but also connects us with partners across Southeast Asia who share our values and goals.

This recognition marks a significant milestone for Alily Energy and reflects growing international interest in China’s green technology innovations. It also underlines the increasing importance of sustainable solutions in the evolving Southeast Asian market.
